Where Should the Defense Stand?

A model-based defensive alignment tool that recommends where all seven fielders should stand for any batter, pitcher, park, count, and base-out state. It predicts each hitter’s batted-ball mix and spray against the matchup, factors in fielder sprint speed, and scores the suggested alignment against standard positioning in runs saved and outs gained per 100 balls in play on held-out data.
